Happiness is hitting Marble Falls just in time for Pie Happy Hour.
Pie Happy Hour, y’all.
Need a minute?
Much, much better view out our back window here.
Our next door neighbor is a downsizing show-off.
He says there’s a king size bed in that thing, which he does indeed haul with the Mini.
Eensy bit jealous, I am.
I swerved my brain out of a potentially mortifying request just seconds before I opened my mouth at the park HQ. Yay me!
Noticed the symbol in the upper center there, and was about to ask, “Are there any spots available near the wifi hotspot?” when intelligence mercifully made its way back to me.
That’s the symbol for an amphitheater, Emily.
There are geese in our back yard. Geese!
Tim makes a quick right turn, causing Emily to shoot right on past.
Em: Turn signals! You’re supposed to use turn signals!
Tim gestures with right hand.
Em: THAT IS NOT A TURN SIGNAL!
Found that “wifi hotspot!”
Hiking day, Gromit!
And Honey made the breakfast tacos. Off we go!
Red and yellow, green and blue,
These are the colors we trekked through.
For 2.5 hours. Good for the heart, good for the brain, and I’m pretty sure I hiked my overhips back down to a size 8.
Sign at one of the primitive camp sites.
Um, if you can’t have a fire or a martini, how are you to survive the night? Sheesus.
Our morning visitor.
Tim took the photos — and also wondered out loud if this guy would fit in the Dutch oven.
She’s so happy.
